At first, when we chose the tasting menu, everything was going very well and the service was excellent. However, as we got to dessert, they didn't assist us or ask how we were doing, and when we told them we didn't like the desserts, they didn't say or do anything about it. It took them about 40 minutes to bring us a bottle of water, and before bringing it, they came to ask if I was willing to pay for it because it didn't come with the tasting menu, to which we clearly stated we were going to pay. In addition, we ordered an extra dish on top of something we loved from the tasting menu, and it wasn't at all like it—very, very, very bad. When we told the waiters, they were rude and impolite. I honestly don't recommend it and would never return, despite paying a bill of over a million pesos. Terrible service. And terrible service when we explained why we didn't like the food.
The place is very nice, the atmosphere is sophisticated and the service is good, however, I had different expectations about the food, it really wasn't Japanese food, the dishes we ordered (sirloin and tuna) came with fried Creole potatoes and some rather uninspired sauteed vegetables... I didn't get any traditional Asian flavors and that was what we expected, the menu isn't so extensive that we would have opted for an option more in line with expectations. This is a restaurant that offers food that can be easily found anywhere else in Bogotá, only with a beautiful view and very high prices.
I've been wanting to go there for quite some time, but I was honestly disappointed. The place is very nice and the staff is very friendly, but the food is very average. The octopus balls had sauces that didn't match and were too toasted. The tempura mix was a regular breaded dish, not tempura breaded. The accompanying sauce wasn't too bad, but it lacked flavor. The tempura included a white fish that we preferred not to finish due to its flavor. The chicken skewers had to be eaten with forks, not like eating a skewer or food off a skewer, because they were so large. The seaweed in the seaweed tacos didn't taste fresh and were hard to bite. It's decent, but it seemed like it wasn't freshly breaded. The gyozas were delicious. The mocktails were almost flavorless, bland, and more than half the glass was ice. Overall, it feels like you're paying for the location, not the food. The quality of the food doesn't match the prices. The food is much better in more modest places for a quarter of the price. Getting to the restaurant is an odyssey, and so is leaving. The place is labyrinthine. There are no good signs or even good directions. At the entrance, one security guard told us it was on the 8th floor, and then another, the 10th. The third guard, from the parking lot, was the one who got it right, but inside we almost couldn't find the elevator we needed, and the directions from the hotel staff weren't that clear.
It's a super divine experience served on plates. Every bite is so 😱 that even James Bond would give up his martini to dine here. Not to mention the service from the entire team 🫶🏻, they impress you with smiles and thoughtful touches that make you feel like royalty. Incredible, isn't it? Absolutely amazing! Thank you so much from the bottom of your heart and soul.
Super food and nice stuff. I like the view at night to the city with full of light and the atmosphere. It was delicious food and reasonable price. I recommend this for Sushi and Japanese food lover
On this second occasion, the quality of service declined significantly. They brought us the wine, but the ice bucket never arrived. Dessert also took a long time. As for the ambiance, the loud music made conversation at the table very difficult, and the atmosphere was not at all in keeping with Asian cuisine. All this considering the fairly high prices these days.
The view is spectacular. The food is delicious. I recommend the octopus; the texture is perfect.
