Good food, good music, but the service was ridiculously bad. The bar was overcrowded, with no tables, and I waited for a table to become available. I asked several times if they could set up another table on the sidewalk, and they said no, that I'd have to wait. After waiting for half an hour, they set up two new tables for two couples who had just arrived... in other words, total disregard for my service. I went to complain to the waiter, who didn't answer me and practically shrugged me off. Incidentally, I was alone, a table for only one. In short, disrespectful and disorganized. Note: I spent 54 reais on an Uber, round trip, and it was wasted, only to receive such trashy and disrespectful service. I won't recommend it to anyone else.

I went to meet some friends at São João in downtown Recife, and they were at a table in the store, I sat down and 5 minutes later, I found two security guards from the place on top of our table as if we were doing something extremely wrong... and the reason was because I was already consuming drinks from another place, which is understandable since most establishments do not allow it, but I saw no reason for two security guards to come to the table pointing at the drink and causing horrible discomfort, where everyone around was looking, to warn that it was not allowed, which could have easily been warned by a waiter (informing in a subtle and polite way that it was not possible, and even then I would have continued... I would understand the security guards' arrival), I felt extremely uncomfortable and oppressed! And for this simple situation, I will never go back to that place!

Good food, excellent location!! Nice June atmosphere, enjoying downtown Recife Velho!

Super nice place! Good snacks, cold beer, good service, and good music!! My favorite place in Recife Antigo!!
