Zen Adega e Restaurante

I went with my girlfriend on Valentine's Day and had an incredible experience at Zen Adega e Restaurante. A cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and impeccable service. It was a special evening from start to finish. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent good times

I don't recommend it! As many have already said, we also went to the Valentine's Day 2025 event, and with the exception of the tango performance, there was absolutely nothing worth seeing. Bad service, bad food, everything went wrong.I believe that this is not the usual service at this place, on normal days it must be different, but I don't intend to find out, and I don't recommend it to anyone, under any circumstances.

The worst dining experience I've ever had.On Valentine's Day (June 12, 2025), I made a reservation at the restaurant for a special dinner that promised: three appetizers, a main course, a dessert, and a tango show, for R$650.00 per couple.I arrived promptly at 8 p.m. and, to my surprise, we were seated in a completely secluded area at the back of the restaurant, with no view of the main dining area, much less the tango show. A space that, frankly, shouldn't even be offered to diners.But unfortunately, this was just the beginning of a series of disappointments. The first appetizer—two tiny, crunchy cigars, poorly presented on raw beans—wasn't served until 10 p.m., after a two-hour wait. And, believe me, this was still the best part of the menu.Soon after, more than an hour late, the other two starters arrived at the same time: a simple lettuce salad with an embarrassing amount of shredded salmon and nuts, as well as a sweet fruit salad — tasty, but completely out of place as a starter.After this true test of patience, the main course simply did not arrive. At least five times, waiters came by asking if "all that was missing was the main course", showing the total lack of preparation and disorganization of the event.At 11:30 pm, after more than 3 hours in the restaurant, we decided to leave without dinner. When it was time to pay for the drinks, we asked for a partial refund for the meal, since the main course had not been served. At this point, the owner of the restaurant tried in every way to get around the situation, downplaying what had happened and avoiding giving clear explanations to the customers who, like us, had been waiting for hours. She claimed that there had been a delay in the arrival of the cooks — an unacceptable justification for an event of this magnitude. She also said that she had been working in the industry for over 20 years and that nothing like this had ever happened before.At her insistence, we agreed to wait a little longer. And finally, the dishes arrived: tiny portions, cold and tasteless. One dish was a tiny piece (less than 100g) of meat with dry and bad pasta; the other was fish with risotto that was absolutely bland and of questionable taste.The dessert, a banana cheesecake, was good and tasty, but like everything else on the menu, it came in a very small portion.We left the restaurant disappointed, frustrated and, believe it or not, hungry. As for the tango show? We watched it standing up, squeezed between the tables in front, since there was simply no view from our table.Despite the owner's apologies, I would like to say that she was completely disorganized, respectful and prepared for the customers. It was an embarrassing and frustrating experience that should never be repeated.

The atmosphere is very beautiful. We ordered the romantic menu; the Ancho was overcooked, and the Pintado was underseasoned. The appetizers were so small they were minimalist.The service also left something to be desired. I didn't think it was worth the price, which wasn't cheap.

Excellent food, cozy and extremely romantic atmosphere, perfect for couples! Not to mention the education and good service of the staff! In short, an excellent place, I will definitely come back!

Frustrating, I've never been in a situation like this. I went to spend a night of love with my wife and we had to go eat somewhere else so we wouldn't go hungry.
