Best muqueca in Salvador

I recommend delicious food

We went there two weeks ago and ordered the fish and shrimp moqueca. It was delicious, as were the sides, but it's never enough for two people. The portion is very small, with two small pieces of fish and a few shrimp. For the price, it's not worth it.

Good drinks and a nice place to sit and watch whatever is going on in the square outside the restaurant! We sat outside with my dog and had no problems. The menu was in Portuguese, German and English

Delicious moqueca in a restaurant with great service and good prices. At night, there's street entertainment, so I recommend a table outside. A great restaurant for Bahian food and cultural experiences.

Worst experience of my life in Pelourinho. We're from Salvador, and we took the day off to sightsee in Pelourinho. We were with two kids and decided to stop at this restaurant for lunch. The waiter recommended carne do sol (sun-dried beef) and picanha (picanha) because we didn't want seafood. We ordered it. The meat tasted like third-rate beef, not even second-rate. But we were so hungry, we didn't send it back, and I regretted it. Two pieces of meat arrived, tough as a rock, and when I called the waiter to complain, he turned away and brought the bill. What a surprise! The bill came to R$584. It was an armed robbery. They charged a cover charge of R$12. Not to mention the absurdly bad food. This place is trashy; it has no respect for the customer. If you're a tourist, never set foot there; you'll get robbed. I'll never go back. Poor service and horrible food.

One lunchtime during our vacation, we tried this restaurant. The food was good, the atmosphere was musical, and it smelled delicious. The moquecas were coming out of the kitchen, and we wanted to try them. Shrimp was everywhere, in all its forms, and for all tastes. Shrimp lovers, treat yourselves. Another good dish is the croquettes, garnished in different ways with a spicy sauce, delicious with beer. Good Balinese cuisine. Bravo...
