The dishes ordered were: Fish appetizer with lambao sauce = 10!Aiê - fish with mashed plantain and brown sugar oil = Bland, bland. It's almost bad.Shrimp Bobo - Nothing special.Filet mignon Tornedo - Ordered medium rare and arrived raw.I gave up on dessert.I left frustrated.
This was my second time there and I loved it! The food was very good and the service was fast. We went on a holiday, so it was empty. But I went on another weekday and it was even more crowded. The food was delicious!
I took Poró's recommendation and went in a bit in the dark. The atmosphere is indeed charming, and the incredible view makes the restaurant very appealing. However, after only a short time, we noticed the service issues. The waiters were very clumsy and generally "spacey" (while I was there, I checked the Google reviews and saw that many people had made similar comments). In our case, we asked to change tables because of the sun, and while he was talking to us, the waiter turned his back and went to do something else. To avoid being in the sun and not be left without a table inside, we left on our own. We explained to the new waitress that we had changed tables, but minutes later the first waiter arrived saying that we couldn't have moved and that we were "wrong." While I was trying to explain, he left again, leaving me to talk to myself. Regarding the food... we ordered two appetizers; the lapinhas (breaded fish) were delicious, as was the tamarind sauce that accompanied it, but the cheese curd cubes were cold inside. The main dishes (Rei Tornedô and Arrumadinho) were good, but nothing amazing. I don't know if the view and the atmosphere make up for the problems with the service.
They wouldn’t let us set aside a table for four people so we could sit in the area with a view of the bay. Luckily, we found another couple who agreed to sit with us. After that couple left, they took the chairs and the empty table that ‘couldn’t’ be set aside and put them together at another table.
I had "Seared Tuna with Avocado Sauce," a cold dish, but it wasn't avocado sauce, but green mashed potatoes. It didn't taste like avocado. It's a shame, since we ordered two of the same dishes because we love avocado with fish.
Very nice place. Well-decorated and with a beautiful view from the patio. The black cocktail was pure ice. The food was very good.
This remains one of the most overrated places in Salvador. Despite the beautiful view, there's nothing else to justify the hype. I found the prices a bit high; the dishes left something to be desired in terms of quantity and flavor; the service was extremely disorganized—my friend had to order her drink three times before it arrived; and the ordering took a long time. I went once and never intend to go back. I paid around R$150 and left hungry, but the pizza place down the street saved me.
