SAVUER BISTRÔ is a great restaurant option, note: reservations only, I was not a customer there but I worked there many times and was able to eat some of the food too, the dishes are excellent and the dessert is even better... Great place!
Very good 😊
I was very disappointed with the restaurant. I booked a 6-course tasting menu with my husband. But it's never worth the price they charge for the menu. I paid 270 reais per person and left hungry. The food is very small. If the restaurant is going to do a tasting menu, it should be a reasonable amount of food so that we don't leave the restaurant hungry. We left and ordered takeout. The bill came to over 700 reais and we left hungry. The individual dishes may be worth it, but the tasting menu is NOT worth it.
It would be nice to have more options for vegetarians. When I first started, I asked if it would be possible to serve only the onion cream (which was what caught my attention in the advertisement and made me want to try the restaurant), but the waiter said that it would be impossible to serve only the onion cream because it came with ribs (if I'm not mistaken). So I was left without an appetizer. For the main course, I asked for the Flat Iron without the meat. The gnocchi were tasty, the sauce was good, you could taste the truffles, and the service was good.Another disappointment was the dessert. The waiter said that the one I had chosen was not available at the moment.I don't know if it was because I went during the Easter holiday, but I found it a bit disappointing not to have any options for appetizers or dessert. It left something to be desired.
Good option.
Regarding the new 6-course menu. It started with a basic flaw in the couvert: butter served cold and hard, impossible to spread on the bread. The bread was not fresh. It was reheated in the oven, becoming a little hard and falling apart. The rest of the dishes were excellent, well prepared and tasty. The only thing that could have been more generous was the quantity, especially the 2 main courses, especially considering the price of the menu. In the end, if I were very hungry, I would have needed to eat something else.I would go back and try the 4-course menu.
Food: Best restaurant experience, food wise, so far in Brasilia. The first four course of the 5 plate menu were BY FAR the best combined meal I have had here. The 5th, dessert, was good too - however, the ice cream/semi-freddo had unpleasant icy crystals in it - the chef MUST taste before it goes out, every night. Espresso was decent for Brazil, but would suggest reducing the water by 1/3 to make it more intense. Nice selection of local Brasilia wines, which are - amazingly- quite good.Service: Great at the beginning when I arrived and the restaurant was almost empty. However, as the restaurant filled up, the service slowed down. Two servers on a Saturday night with 30+ client is simply not enough. Smaller details: my wine glass did not remain topped up; requested pepper mill did not come until I asked again. Bill/check took too long to come. Another sign of understaffing on the floor (unfortunately common in Brazil).Atmosphere/location: a gem hidden in a house in a gated community in a residential neighborhood. I like it!Overall: Easily the best restaurant so far in Brasilia. 👍👍World class food, which is saying a lot. Will definitely come back several times to try more of the dishes. Luckily live in the neighborhood. VERY reasonable price flat R$199 for the five course menu. So close to being an amazing experience, let down by the dessert and the unacceptable slow down in the service as the restaurant filled up. Almost left with a big grin on my face, but due to the small issue I mentioned, only left with a smile. Have gone twice more. Service has been much faster, and they gave me a voucher for the bad experience I mention above. The new 4 course menu is great. The risotto with sausage and shrimp needs some work. The sausage overwhelms and the shrimp were a bit too crusty. However, the brownie, chocolate mousse and salted caramel sauce is AMAZING! One of the best deserts I have probably ever had.
